Itinerary/What to Expect
This camp is about learning steep skiing technique, backcountry skills, mountain safety, and most importantly, HAVING FUN!
We will base out of Chamonix for 5 days of adventure skiing. Our goal is to ski the best lines available for the given conditions, and provide you with coaching and instruction in big mountain skiing. Crystal Wright, Freeskiing World Tour Champion, and Liz Oakes Smart, steep skier and the 8th female american IFMGA mountain guide, will lead your throughout the week. You should arrive on the Sunday before the camp starts. We will have welcome drinks and a group dinner at one of our favorite French restaurants. Monday through Friday will be filled with skiing wherever the conditions are best in the Chamonix area. We have the option of 5 different lift systems in the Chamonix valley as well as Courmayeur in Italy and Verbier in Switzerland. Throughout the week, we will push you to increase your confidence in different terrain and snow conditions. We also have the option to go ski touring and heli skiing depending on conditions and the group. We will have a celebration dinner on Friday evening, and you can schedule your departure for Saturday.

Am I good enough or am I too good?
Clients range in age from 16 to 75. This trip is for intermediate to advanced female skiers. You should be comfortable skiing black diamond runs in the ski area in any condition (crud, powder, ice, etc). It is very helpful to have some backcountry or off-piste skiing experience, but it is not necessary. We will work on the skills needed to feel comfortable in this type of terrain. Our guides can provide plenty of challenges for even the most accomplished skiers.
You will ski with one guide and up to 4 other skiers whose ability and fitness is similar to yours.
It is recommended to fly into the Geneva airport (GVA). There are numerous transfer companies that offer direct transfers from the airport to the hotel. Contact us if you want help with your travel details. We will provide all transportation during the camp.
